STRASBURG 250 (1761-2011)

The Strasburg 250th Committee has received a $2,500 Donation from the Strasburg Heritage Association! Thank You!

The Citizens of Strasburg, Virginia would like to welcome you to our town and our site and hope that you will come join us in 2011 for our year-long celebration of the founding and history of our community.

In the coming months, we will be completing the planning of our celebration and making the town ready for a year-long tribute to the history of our founding fathers, mothers, children, and pay tribute to all those residents, past and present who have made Strasburg, Virginia the vibrant, small-town community that it is.

During 2011 you can come and celebrate our town, from its humble beginnings as a pottery center, to its official founding in 1761, to its involvement during the Civil War, to its culteral diversity, to its natural wonders, to its official incorporation in 1922, and to the present Strasburg - Crossroads of History and Nature!
